I TAKE CARE OF MY PLANET

For all human activities, the time is approaching for sustainable development. What does this mean? Preserving exhaustible resources, managing renewable resources, conserving and generating energy, reducing releases of greenhouse effect gases, using non-polluting recyclable products, reducing waste and/or to re-use them in other products.

In a consumerist society, wasteful of energy consumption, unscrupulous in preserving natural capital, an alternative more rational society, working closer with nature not only though idealistic eyes but though necessity will evolve.

Through their businesses everyone must participate in this task across the world, which in turn will decide the fate of both the present and future generations.

Taking care of the Planet has existed for a time in a simple, positive social behavior. Today this has become the foundation of a new industrial logic: a product that is not able to guarantee the safety and respect of the environment will be prevented from entering the commercial world.

The market should invest in a new generation of products which, in addition to their existing features, must differentiate themselves with their ability to respect both the environment and the health of man.

For that, collaborative research, development and ethical consideration must be carried out by institutional and financial professionals, including Nature Defense organizations, University laboratories and private businesses.

The association 'I take care of my Planet' was created with this criterion in mind.
